5. Account Deletion and Retention

When you permanently delete your account we erase your login identity, DNA kits, kit activations, raw genetic files, and results. The same email and handle may be used later to create a new, unrelated account.

We retain orders, shipments, and sample IDs (including shipping snapshots) for legal and operational purposes such as tax records, courier claims, and lab chain of custody. Posts, chats, and community memberships are hidden from other users rather than kept visible.

A used sample ID cannot be activated again after erasure.
