Description of Service

GenoConnect is a platform that provides genomic data analysis and interpretation services. We facilitate connections between researchers, healthcare providers, and patients while maintaining strict privacy and security standards.

Changes to Reports and website content

We reserve the right to modify or update reports given to you, report categories, number of reports and website content at any time without prior notice.

Accuracy of genetic reports

The accuracy and completeness of your genetic reports depend on the Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) tier you have purchased. Higher coverage depths (5x, Hybrid 5x+100x WES, 30x) detect a greater number of variants and provide higher confidence results than the Standard 1x WGS. Accuracy also depends on the scientific datasets and reference populations used for interpretation, and reports may be updated as new research and reference data becomes available.

Sample Processing and Storage

Please be aware that all samples are processed in batches and not individually. Your sample will be stored at our laboratory facilities until a complete batch is formed for processing. This batch processing approach may result in delays between when your sample reaches our lab and when processing begins. The timeline for batch completion varies based on current volume, and we cannot guarantee specific processing dates. We will notify you once your sample has been included in a batch and processing has begun.

Batch Processing Policy

Our company processes samples in sequencing batches rather than processing each individual sample immediately upon receipt. We prioritize users who have referred friends or family members. Whole Genome Sequencing runs are most cost-efficient when a sufficient number of samples are sequenced together on a single instrument run. This means your sample will be stored securely until enough samples are collected to form a complete batch. Processing will not begin until the batch is ready. As a result, there may be a delay in processing your sample, even beyond the initially indicated timeline, if we are unable to complete a batch in a timely manner. We appreciate your understanding and patience with this approach.

First Batch Delivery and Refund Policy

For the initial batch of users ("First Batch"), please be advised that the turnaround time for report delivery may extend beyond the standard estimated timelines. Reports will be released incrementally, category by category, contingent upon the completion of our ongoing development and analysis protocols.

By participating in the First Batch, you acknowledge and agree that once your sample has been tested and entered the analysis phase, no refund requests will be entertained or processed.

In consideration for your patience and acceptance of these extended timelines and incremental delivery schedule, First Batch users will be granted access to all premium reports at no additional cost. Your acceptance of these terms constitutes a binding agreement to these specific conditions for the First Batch.

Genetic Counselling

We do not provide genetic counselling services by default. We provide genetic counselling services only when you opt for it at added price. However we may provide genetic counselling services for free in some cases.

Online Store Terms

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

• You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature
• A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and jurisdiction of Kochi, Kerala.
